Going out to eat...definitely one of our favorite past times. We jumped at the chance to go out to dinner with my husbands brother and wife, to repay her for doing our taxes for us. The place we went to was Vertical Wine Bistro. A tapas wine bar that was dangerously located at the top a steep flight of steps.
We had such a good time, with great company, conversation and food. We all enjoyed our wine, which was french so of course delicieux! We had grilled cheese sandwiches that were not the kind that we're all used to. It was made with blue cheese and raisin walnut bread! So good, as were their scallops...one of the best I've tasted!

I knew we couldn't completely cutout dining out to eat. We're such foodies, what were we thinking? aaah, moderation is key.
I would definitely come back to this place. I enjoyed the ambiance, lighting, not too crowded, and very well decorated. The scallops dish is definitely the best I've had up to date.
Ooh, and the grilled cheese sandiches too. I really wouldn't mind ordering both again!
Just didn't like our waitress staring at us from a distance waiting for us to finish. Later on I found out why: immediately after we paid, she took off for the evening. We did sort of arrive late (our dinner dates' fault!) lol
I was too busy eating and finishing everybody's food. What waitress?
